Who's eligible to pitch?
Anyone with an original argument, named sources, or first-party data on the wedding technology industry. Founders, operators, investors, engineers, analysts, reporters, and industry practitioners (planners, venues, photographers, marketplaces). No credential requirement. Undisclosed conflicts get pieces killed — disclose relationships up front.
What do you actually publish?
Founder interviews, market analysis, fintech and payments reporting, product launches read against the roadmap, tech-vs-tech breakdowns using a consistent rubric, funding and M&A, original datasets, and sharp opinion with receipts. We do not publish press-release rewrites, sponsored bylines, anonymous accusations, or AI-generated filler.
How long does review take?
A human editor reads every pitch. You'll hear back within five business days — either with edits and questions, a green light, or a clear reason we're passing. Time-sensitive pitches (breaking news, funding announcements, launches) tagged in the Timing field get triaged same-day.
Can I keep more than one draft at a time?
Yes. Every autosaved pitch shows up in the Your drafts panel with a timestamp. Switch between drafts, start a new one, or delete old ones without losing your work. Each draft also has a private resume link so you can pick up on another device.
Do I need a finished draft?
No. A tight pitch with a clear thesis and named sources beats a finished-but-generic draft every time. If you have a draft, drop the URL in the form. If not, use the downloadable template as a scaffold.
Do you pay contributors?
Not for editorial pitches at this stage. Contributors get a permanent verified profile, byline links from every article and every company profile they touch, and distribution across the WeddingSaaS network — newsletter, RSS, and the annual industry round-up. Paid commissions are handled separately and by invitation.
Is anything off-limits?
Pay-to-play coverage, sponsored bylines, anonymous accusations without documented evidence, and AI-generated filler dressed up as reporting. Also: puff pieces for anyone, ever — including companies the founders or contributors are affiliated with.
Is my draft safe with you?
Drafts autosave to your device and sync to your account keyed to a private resume link — so you can pick up where you left off from another browser or device. Nothing is shared with editors until you preview, review, and hit Send. Submitted pitches are read by a human editor and are never used for AI training. If we pass, we don't share your thesis with third parties.
